Personally I dont see the point in changing factory alloys for other standard factory alloys.

I see what you are saying Mark, its just this car is not meant to be over the top, it will eventually be the daily driver in about 12 months time when I hand it over to the wife.

I'll keep any serious mods until I get a GT.B hopefully not long after.

I like the spec.b wheels as they just added a bit more class I felt, and for $500 for a while set the price was hard to look past.

STi wheels are different story.

Im talking about changing any standard model Liberty wheel for another standard model Liberty wheel of the same Generation.

Could be I just dont like the specB wheels either. Each to their own, but I can share my opinion :P

Absolutely I understand what you are saying.

It is funny I disliked them too when I saw them, but they grew on me lol

I understand people not liking factory wheels, I get and accept that, but to say they look so different on a face lift vs. Preface that one you dislike and the other completely transforms the car is absurd!

Same body shape with different tail-lights, front bar and slightly different headlights is the only real noticeable changes to the untrained eye.

.... totally agree with rob... you can NOT like the wheels but saying the wheels look totally better on the preface lift compare to the post face lift is a laughting matter.. for normal people you would barely notice the difference...

It's the front mainly where I notice the difference.. I dunno... I wouldn't consider myself to have an untrained eye when it comes to the difference between the 2.

Nice! Who did you order them from and how much were they?

I want to see if I can interface them with a CarPC.
I was going to procrastinate, but I put it off...

Hi Nick,

I can help you here, the part is definitely genuine. I am not sure how much they are new as I bought it on the forum second hand.

There are two types, I have the stainless one.

J1010AG010 - Stainless
J1010AG020 - Resin

Rob what's the fitment like on yours? It looks like there is a bit of a gap at the top from your photos?
I know when you try put a prefacelift grille on a postfacelift there is a gap but the gap is at the bottom normally?
