The set your getting come with direct plug adapters which means you will not have splice your loom and the right O-rings so you will not have any leaks......... I don't think the ones posted in the link off those options.

Sorry mate, but was only sharing the info. It could be because my car is still on the stock tune with the mods, so that might be putting a bit of strain on the injectors, but if you have the ability to upgrade the injectors just do it anyway! Gives you the option of switching to E85 down the track when it becomes more available ;)

One question though, I have been told that I will not need new injectors until I start modding the actual engine block itself. I was planning on going for injector dynamics 725cc but was told the stock ones would be fine. I am getting a new fuel pump installed however. Just wondering what opinions were on this as im not 100% sure, would have thought that upgrading the fuel pump would require bigger injectors?

Adam

I run the Tomei fuel reg and Sards pump with stock injectors, just to ensure the fuel supply is constant.

When my 380xt is fitted and tuned, I’ll still run the oem injectors, I was planning an E85 tune, but my car will be sold on in a few months’ time so no point going any further.

Stock injectors are fine if you’re not wanting to run more boost.

But if you’re planning to open the engine up for some real power or even considering E85 on a closed engine than a set of ID1000 ‘s would be the best option….. Phat would be best man to talk too.

You’ll find once you get your car tuned correctly, your injectors duty cycle will not be as high……. Currently with the extra the air being pushed in and out of the engine, the ECU is increasing the fuel to ensure it doesn’t lean out.

It's all important info to me anyway. And true the option of e85 is very tempting. Though we are a long way from having it here in WA. Are injectors something you can replace post tune?

Saw your car parked out the front of a well known workshop while I was there watching a chap battling to put on his AVO silicone inlet pipe to his TD05G BBK on his 08 STI Libby sedan. Not a fun job by the looks. Suffering was a word mentioned and the knocked fingers showed how committed this fellow was, hope it goes well for him. 11 wrxs n 4 libs out the front waiting for mods and tunes, they looked very busy!
Lets see how you like yours after work/tune, man you must be excited.
