And if you do have no drone at highway speeds they will have done an exceptional job.

Well today I drove 142kms at all different speeds to listen to the exhaust.

I did a fair bit of driving tonight in the 100-110km/h zone and didn't have any drone. There is a rumble in the back but I wouldn't call it a drone. Went out with a mate as well and he confirmed no drone.

Also I did the 142kms for a touch under the first marker below the full indicator on the fuel gauge. The car seems to be running really well at this stage.

Thanks Mick! :D

Big call though given the unreal exhaust around on the forum.

If anyone would like to know the exact components used I'd be happy to list them.

My mouth was open listening to how good that sounds. I have no doubt that you did a lot of research prior to purchase and it evidently paid off. :hi:
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!

Had the pleasure of listening too and taking Bruce's car for a drive on the weekend. Can honestly say it’s a very nice sounding exhaust. Very subtle when in the cabin and not overly loud when giving it some beans.
The tips do look better in person but still a little small for me..

Firstly thanks guys for all your kind words. Looks like this mod was a success judging by the feedback I've received so far.

These things can be a bit hit and miss sometimes.

A few people have asked about the parts used for the exhaust build so I've listed them below.

The exhaust is full stainless, 3 inch pipe for the straight mid section and 2.5 inch where it becomes a Y shaped piece.

The actual mufflers etc are all Magnaflow and I've listed them as per the Magnaflow website. I have also returned my second catalytic converter back into the AVO dump pipe to make it a little more EPA legal as well as adding a little more noise surpression.

Cat: http://www.magnaflow.com/02catalytic_converters/02product/displayuniversal.asp?universal=53009

Centre : http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd.asp?zone=main&id=10073

Mufflers: http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd.asp?zone=main&id=9972

Tips: 3 inch angle cut double skinned. Looks pretty OEM I think.

No probs Ben, happy to help as always.

Though the proof is in the hearing on this one.

I'm loving it.

No not yet. Waiting on one final mod to arrive before chucking it on the dyno again to complete the mechanical mods and tune. Will then post results.
