Firstly, the pipes from Kando. As detailed above, I had some dramas with the post, but here they are, all nicely coated in high temp black. For those of you new to playing with cars note the fact that the right side pipe work loops back on itself, creating further for the air to travel before the up pipe, making it an equal length to the left heads gas path.

Compared to the ones that came off. Notice the design of the old ones, the air from the left hand cylinder head has a lot further to flow than the right side. Hence the unequal lenth headers, and the "boxer rumble." Also note, the are a fairly efficient design. I don't think they would be hurting power too much.

I had the Dump off, so I thought I would take a couple of pics of it. TCP makes a nice exhaust I must say.

Looking into the dump flange.

And the right side with the up pipe. Note the manifold now runs around the oil filter.

Oh, and if you want to play with the big boys, you need one of these. It came off a well known 2j powered corolla.

turbo by kiahatsiu, on Flickr

Results? Well, the car is a lot quieter now, and smoother to drive. I cannot say if there is any difference in performance as I don't feel like standing on it until after the tune, well, let me rephrase that, as i feel like standing on it all the time....I won't give it berries until I know it is safe to do so.

Nice photos! Thanks for taking them just for me  That turbo looks massive compared to the other one! Love the finish on the headers too. When is it going in for a tune?

EDIT: To bring the photos onto this page :D

Did some preventative maintenance on this shitter today. It was noticed that coolant was leaking out of one of the banjo fittings on the turbo core. Have now replaced the banjoes with blinging speed flow fittings. Expensive and annoying day. Why don't these fitting manufactures do things in metric?

In other news driving down to Sydney tomorrow. If you see me be sure to wave, or at best don't throw things at me.

Trip to Sydney was nearly disastrous. Must have hit something without noticing in the roadworks in Northern NSW. Effectively pulled the under tray off the front of the car. Had to send 30 min getting the remains of it off on the side of the Pacific Highway.
Any Idea where to get these from? I am too lazy to Google.

All else failing I'm sure a Subaru dealer could get one.
Or a wrecker.
