Hi all,

I know a few of you from around the place but I thought I'd chuck up a thread of my XT.

Purchased in September '11, it is my 3rd Subaru and my first turbo. It was a one owner vehicle with 79,000kms. Popped up on eBay a few days before my Outback drove away so after a few phone calls and a mate local to the car checking it out for me (it was in Brisbane), the deal was done.
The old man and I left Sydney on a plane at 8pm Saturday night, by 9pm we were driving the car and by 6am Sunday, I was back in bed with the Mrs!

Here’s a fairly recent picture –

Looks like a good job mate :) very tidy

I'm not too sure about the plan for the spec b rims tho. Very good looking rims I agree but with the offset of these won't they sit too far in on a foz?

Just compiling a post with all the mods and some pics along the way. Prepare to be bombarded!

@HoFF - You are correct, the offset is different (48 stock vs 55 on the 18s) however with the STi suspension I'm running, I'm told will fix that problem! I had +55 offset Liberty GT rims on my old Outback which also have +48 as stock and it only scrubbed on full lock which didn't bother me...

I then watched an unlicensed driver reverse into my car. Was at a subyclub meet so there were 30 enthusiasts watching the whole thing. Everyone got his numberplate so reported it to the police and got a new front bar through insurance.

Damage was very minimal but it's the principle of the thing!

Image

Came back all nice and shiney with a brand new front bar

Image

While it was at the repairers, I got them to respray the rear bar as it was a bit scratched up by the previous owner

Removed the centre sections

Primed and sprayed in metallic charcoal

Hot glued the badge on from the original grille
