WHERE TO FIND AXXESS TO CLARION FOR MCINTOSH

I managed to stash mine just to the left of the HU, at the rear.

Added some double-sided tape to hold it in and hopefully stop it rattling. Used zip ties to tie the cables/plugs into the xcarlink unit in the hope they never fall out.

Ran the ipod interface cable (p.s. ipod interface is the best as the USB interface provides no way to select specific tracks) under the trim, past shifter, toward centre console box and through a hole in the bottom of the centre console box. Only JUST reaches with a little length to plug in an ipod and be able to pull it out of the console to change settings/tracks. Recommend running the cable through the glove box instead

Sounds good, did you have to pull any of the trim out to run it through to the glove box?
I wouldn’t mind mine coming out besides the passenger seat (opposite the handbrake)

I didn't run mine to the glove box I ran it to the centre console thing (hinged box between the front seats).

I had to remove all the trim to get the HU out anyway.

Maybe give people more than 24hrs to reply to the thread..
Failing that (some people only check the forum every few days if that) hit all that EOI'd in this thread with a PM. At least then you can get a repsone or see that they have ignored it (checking outbox is handy for this)
Might take a couple mins but at least you can get a definite response from all..

1. Maybe when people pledge to buy something for the benefit of a group they should regularly check the thread..? Obviously there are going to be updates.
2. Its not worth doing a group buy anyway as indicated, so why would i further go and PM everyone for a group buy if they are possibly going to save $5 which would then be spent on me posting it to them anyway?

From what i have read this little unit is compatible with 04-06

Am i too late to get in on this group buy?

Im not that good with audio stuff and havnt taken the dash off my lib before (i dont even have the dam car yet) so would this be somthing i would get a sound guy to install for me?

Are you talking about the Axxess or Xcarlink unit?
If its the xcarlink, let me know when you get yours. I’ve waited 10 days now and the idiots won’t reply to any emails. So much for next day shipping.
Installing the unit is pretty easy, definitely do it yourself, it will only take half an hour or so.

Yeah I got the Suzuki xcarlink...at a cost...but still worth it for good tunes.
