The problem I currently have in ROM RAIDER terms is:

Variable Valve Timing AVCS "non cruise intake cam advance angle"

This issue takes me back in time and into history of my car and engine build stage....

When my car was built and handed back to me "will not mention the name of the workshop" they had a problem with a certain fault code appearing on my car.......and the car would stall and not start...

I cant go into details now cause I need to get Danny to write all my problems and issues down "i don't want to type something half assed right and wrong"

But in the end they modified my CAMS to fix the problem.......from which Danny said was not a bad thing with what he gathered when he rang them this afternoon.....

YES he actually rang them and spoke to them.....Marty the tuner who he is still good friends with....Marty told Danny everything about my tune, car and issues they had and so Danny happily returned the favor and told marty what he had found on my car now as well ...it was quite weird hearing them talk....so calm and friendly...

The good outcome of this is now danny knows everything about my car and it's history.....and danny can use this information to work and build my car up to it's deserved glory.....BUT and there's always a BUT....comes with a cost, time and ALLOT of effort needed.....my insane party is just beginning... :(

GB, Kieren, Brother Gino, Jackson, Jslayz, Rooby & Otherz..........Thanks very much for your support and advice............

Well I've spoken to Danny and we had a good hard talk about where my car should go from here:

1/ back up on hoist
2/ book in and come back
3/ continue and proceed
4/ pour ethanol and petrol all over the engine bay and enjoi the fireworks....

Looking at the cons and pros I told him to proceed with the car and it's 2 tunes

When I left yesterday arvo the car on it's 1st run made = 221kw atw compared from a 211-213kw result prior to fixing the fark ups ( so that's some good news I guess )

Also, that was still on the HPF tune, but the curve line was much smooth and better....and really this is how Danny found the problem in the 1st place, when he was looking up the AVCS values in the HPF tune and noticed the car was jerky and pigging down low RPM.....he edited some parameters, played with the HPF tune and logged some runs having to find some weird inconsistencies and came up with that initial result/finding...

Sooooo......I'm hoping he would of finished my prem 100 tune last night? and today will attempt the E85 tune....that will be the ultimate test.......once that's done with no problems I'm hoping?

Brian's car will be up next for his prem 100 tune....

so if you wanted to fix the fuk up correctly you need to pull the cams out?

you might still make it to dyno day? will brian make it too?

Justin good luck man

I know it's a pain and you don't need the extra headaches (some workshops should be closed down), bit hopefully it will all come good

What exactly is it in the cam setup that's causing this? Is it the cam timing and dialing in that is out? Should be easy to pickup with a degree wheel and the plastic timing covers off.

Either way man I hope it all wrks out for you and you make some solid numbers and have an awesome car to drive!
