Hey mate,

Thanks for the heads up! hope my issues, problems etc will help you with your build....good luck! one thing I want to do next is run a new BOV hose line...looks too restrictive with that OEM rubber crap running back to the perrin intake....i want to run a custom one and free up the restriction.....it's on the to do list... :)

MINI / MAJOR UPDATE:

Popped into springy with Bryan at around 2pm....now due to the privacy act that I signed I can only show you underneath brainy's car and inside his car.....ehehehehe  :D ( cock teaser )

In regards to my car?.............well I ended up unexpectedly driving her today :D  :D man what a feeling.....phew!

Danny let me drive her quickly...so we went to the nearest station to pick up some premium 100 for tomorrow's 1st tune.... :D

Mind you the car is in limp mode atm so I had to take it easy...but already and even with Bryan driving on the way back we can totally both agree the car has TRANSFORMED into the car it should of been from the start.......smoother, no knocking noises, no ghosts or phantoms exist any longer....AAA+++ hoping the tunes will be the finishing touches to this 8)

Car is way more quieter with the stainless steel 3" center muff and headers I suppose? ( really recommend this to anyone who wants to stop droning and high end rumble noise )

TBH it's bit too quiet for my liking?......but I'll get use to it.....I know its the right choice.....

So having said this? Looks like I'm picking up the car probably most likely wed? and maybe even Bryan might be soo lucky and pick up his as well?

I hate this point in the game.....it's the slowest and longest wait! but I'm sure it will be worth it... :D

Surprised they let you drive it before it had its tune, But obviously they wouldn't throw you the keys if it wasnt safe and in a drivable condition.

Hey Taylor? Yeah I asked how it was possible and the explanation I got with this:

1/ Going from 750cc to 1000cc injectors isn't that much of a big jump so the car still can run
2/ The ECU is able to make the necessary trims to allow the car to be driven
3/ Danny put the car on limp mode on purpose so he could drive it to make sure it would start and see initially if there are any issues especially with my new fuel kit and reg
4/ The car was driven to the muffler workshop which was around the corner

It just happened to be that when I came to visit they had just come back from the muffler workshop.......perfect timing I guess?

ahhhhh I see. That makes more sense to me now :). sorry i thought you went from the stock injectors to the 1000cc ones. Here I am thinking "OMG OMG OMG if one of those injects go thats going to be the worst headache to replace lol."

I guess you got lucky. The boys having it running to get it to the muffler shop round the corner + you coming in to see how its all going = you getting an unexpected test drive. WIN!

spending today and tomorrow on and off the dyno then??? :D

MINI UPDATE:

Bit of a set back today as Danny went home early this morning to take care of his wife....no cars ended up on the dyno today.....This included bryans car as well.....

Hopefully danny will be in tomorrow and get those tunes in for both of us....we were told that danny actually cancelled some other poor guys car tune time to give more time and room for my car and bryans...
