Got it today at 9.30am.

Fast service! I like

Cool. you will need extra screws to keep it up nice and get no sag. I used 4 speed nuts and 4 10G mushroom head screws.

no really, do as mark says, so you dont have to hairdryer it twice! works a treat

Was it supposed to come with any screws? Mine had none included ... just the lip

Mark what screws and nuts did you use in total?

Since I have an STi and the holes are already there, I would need different screws? (first owner of the car destroyed the lip and threw it out :( )

Thanks for the advice fellas :D

You will only need 4 of each. Drill a pilot hole through the lip and bar with them pressed together. Push the speed nut over the front bar edge flat side down. Screw through the lip and the bar into the speed nut. Done.

Ah sweet, tho those are for the front 4 holes only?

What about the big middle one and the 4 side ones?
My 2 outside holes look like they would need a screw that requires a certain thread and the other 2 outside ones are just bumper and empty space above it, so same deal as the 4 fronts?

Also did you hairdrier yours after you fitted it? The box looks slightly small for the lip and its a bit outta whack

I can take a pic of the other fitting parts required tomorrow.

I actually drilled those 4 holes extra. Wait til its fitted then use a hairdryer to straighten out the wobbles.

got mine fitted today, gave it a quick coat of matt black Plastidip to take the shine off it, Fits very well and lines up with al lthe mounting holes on the bumper. i added about 4 self tappers to the middle section to keep it fluch against the bumper.

I made the mistake of fitting it and them painting, it and when trying to clean up the overspray of on the bumper i scratched the top of the lip in one or two areas so ill need to take it off again and respray it. STI badge waiting to go on too

If there is, Dan, I have a feeling there would be a huge market out there for all the frustrated 3.0R-SpecB owners who don't want to pay huge sums for a lump of plastic.

And if you do find a source for a good, cheap one, let us know!

cheers,

bj (frustrated 3.0R-SpecB owner)

what he is referring to Brad is the 2.0GT spec B bumper, and not the 3.0R spec B bumper

and to answer your question Dan, i doubt there is, but you dont know if you dont try

Im 99% sure they have the wrong pic for that lip.

Thats an 04-06 JDM spec B front and the lip is listed as 08-10.

Also the Genuine lip for that bar pictured is a tad different to the one shown.

HOWEVER, the lip for the 08-10 is about a 95% match, just doesnt sit out as far in the front.....
