Speaking of intake noise, this is going to sound strange, but the other week I removed my resonator on the bottom of the air intake box and since then my car sounds like an emu strapped to a jet engine :p (it makes one deep whooping sound that resonates through the whole car on lift off) So im thinking its due to my new BOV somehow which is full plumb back. How have you got yours setup Rome as you have the same BOV as me. Have you done the resonator delete? I probably made it sound worse than it is but it is a weird sound, was thinking about either covering the hole or putting the resonator back on, or changing from full plumb back to half/half?

The sound isnt the sucking woosh that is annoying me its this deep gulp like sound that only sounds 1 time and lasts a second when I accelerate to about 4000rpm and lift of suddenly especially in 1st gear. Its hard to explain without hearing it for yourself. I dont mind intake/flutter or that pssssht bov sound but this is different to all of them. Is your RZ plumbed back? The only other way to explain the sound is you know those bumps/lines in the road they put in country roads to make drivers more alert (i assume thats what theyre for) and when you drive on them your car resonates, thats what it sounds like but for a second after lift off.
