No pun, but if you go over 6000, its either due to you are a real driver on twisty roads or track. Otherwise you are a normal driver enjoying the torque of the engine

Bills car had an exhaust system that was entirely not factory, it had potential for more flow if only limit was stock headers - which was apparently the case. It featured different cats, mid pipe, tailpipe etc etc, it was only needing headers to be 100% modified.

My car (Raptor Car) has complete stock exhaust, only the header is different, therefore the gains can only be at low end as the system flow is still limited in the high rpm range to stock levels

The other thing that is clear, the first chart shows the difference of the header alone, tq peak occurring 200-300 rpm sooner, peak power 5-7kw higher at 6600rpm and a 28kw gain at 7300rpm

Then, second chart shows the new potential of additional tuning gains, gains that were not available previously as gas flows were limited. Bring on this plus SC!!!

BJ must be going to chime in at some point tomorrow

Dear All:

I want to apologised for my lack of details or full explanation of stuff and maybe... not so communicative.

I am a little tied up with life :) and working on 2x Group N tunes on two STI's. Both statement cars. I have a few sti's I am working on which have some issues too.

I'm a little confused. Is this gain above on a non-SC car with the headers only?

The gain is on an NA engine, the exhaust was fully modified in the past and tuned to full potential, then at a much later date (like a few days ago) the Raptor headers were added - tested (results comments you quoted) and then XTR tuned to find out what new potential - if any existed. You then have the mind blowing results of the second chart V11C

Stats:
I performed tuning on v11b rom which was done on the stock headers. Raptor headers was installed on v11b and results shown below. The last two readers at the bottom is pre-raptor headers.
Image

Taking v11b and adding timing (2 - 4 degrees) that was taken out during tuning, please see the graph below. v11C was done at 21C while v11b at 24-26C.

v11d been release. I am awaiting data.

Considering the results now coming forward from the headers the fellow who bought the header set I had on Ebay has scored the bargin of the century!

This has to be the number one choice of anyone who tracks their car or is a power hungry NA driver.

I guess we will know when we get it done, can't think of any particular reason why results should be much different at all
