Swapped over to the wingless bootlid tonight, looks a lot better imo
because i didnt take any pictures, imagine my car without the factory spoiler on it, and voila! :D

now seriously tempted by the K2 gear rear spoiler. or some combination of diffuser and side pods. or everything..

pretty easy task to swap bootlids, just need another person (thanks sis!) to help support it whilst undoing the bolts and lifting out of/into position.
and f**k you subaru for making clips designed not to come out easily or at all.

exhaust stuff installing tomorrow night, might even get around to doing the weathershields during the day as well. its amazing how productive a 2 day uni timetable makes you!

Installed xforce exhaust on saturday with a mate. easy bolt on job, only complication were some very stubborn subaru bolts that had claimed their grip on the threads with 7 years of rusting.

FYI H6 without mufflers sounds pretty decent, youd get good results from getting a muffler shop to just weld up some straight pipe from there.
H6 without centre piping, (so nothing after 3rd cat where the two extractors join into one pipe).....sounds f**king brutal. you have no idea. unfortunately didnt record anything  but take my word for it

and current system with xforce centre/y pipe and magnaflow mufflers....sounds very good. bit loud at the moment but ill give a couple of weeks for the new stuff to get some carbon buildup and quieten down. bit of crackle/pop on throttle-off, crazy sound WOT, overall very happy. recording to come.

double the fun double the mods this week, picked up my new wheels from phats place

wedssport sa55m with black blue machining
19x8 +50, come in at just under 9kgs a corner which is pretty good imo
not cheap...hahah. whats the saying if you have to ask you cant afford them?
got some black project kics lugnuts with them as well, thanks PHAT!
will run 225/35R19. may go for 10mm spacers in rear and a slight roll depending on how they sit/what i feel like
will try get them fitted up soon and get some decent pics

nothing much else, adjusted short shifter to lowest height possible a few days ago. think i might get a redline custom shift boot made up with some nice leather + colour stitching, or maybe alcantara. too much loose material with this setup.

wheels are on :D

wrapped in falken 452s, thought id give them a shot heard some good things about them. 225/35 19
its amazing how much of a difference they make to the car

in direct sunlight they have a purple tinge to them, but out of direct light and in darkness they look pitch black. except for the blue highlights which are always shiny :) pictures dont do these justice

they now make it very obvious that i need some brembos or some big brake kit to fill the space, anyone got a spare few grand
pics next post
