I think the only "Cracking" issue is when installing the tint with the heat gun

once it's installed in properly, there shouldn't be any issue after that

Pretty sure my sunroof was tinted by the previous owner because I leave the cover back on a hot day and don't get sunburnt :)

Steve - if you find someone that will do it please let me know because I'm keen as. Mine is tinted slightly already (05 2.5i) but when the blind is open it's still hot! I'd like 5% on there, but atm I'd say mine is approx 25-30% as it's not as dark as my windows at 20%

Ok ......so hear is the latest , spoke to solartint today, to the owner,he puts the same film on a sunroof that they use on a skylight ,which he said they have not had any problems with.THIS IS NOT THE SAME FILM THAT ROB IS USING IN MELBOURNE.Spoke to Rob after solartint,he was happy so send the film he uses on a sunroof, cut to size with instructions and get your local tinter to put it on
For me I wish we could get a group buy going and get Rob to come up North for a weekend and get him to do it ,from all reports he knows his stuff and does a great job ...no hints Rob :D :D
So in a nut shell thats the best we can do ATM
Has anyone from Sydney had the tint from Rob put on ? if so where ? and did they do a good job ?

If you're considering a sunroof tint and you're based in Vic, I recommend getting it done with Rob at cartint.net.au

Just had mine done and am really chuffed with the results
