Just received my A/C filter yesterday and installed it this morning. I must say I'm really satisfied with the result, my A/C feels more powerful, don't know if its just in my head. However, when I removed the existing filter, it wasn't even that dirty, well at least not like the pics I've seen.

So Subaru tried to jib me into replacing a filter which wasn't dirty, wanted to charge me $110 dollars for it, and claim that they are going to install an "A/C sanitiser" for another $110 .

PHAT sold me a hybrid filter of better quality for $65 dollars, which took me all in all 5 minutes to install. So, thanks PHAT for selling me an awesome product at an awesome price, you've won a new customer and I'm planning to buy your HKS panel filter if you've checked your email =)

As for Subaru, FUCK YOU. This is $220 you are not going to get.

They don't call them stealerships for nothing.

Glad you are happy with the product. Just remember to tell Subaru not to replace it when you get services done, or better yet just sticky tape some paper on the panel covering that area each time you take it in saying "do not replace".
And of course don't forget to clean it, it's very simple to do. Every 5000km / 6 months I think PHAT recommends.
