Again...

Postby Nick3.0R-B » Mon Feb 06, 2012 10:05 pm

At 120,000km by lib was knocking at the front right. So i changed the bilstiens and the prob was solved.

Now at 155,000km and it seems to be back..surely these shocks last more then 30,000k's

I really notice it when i turn right over tram tracks or even just right over uneven road. But hard turn on tracks is just shocking.....i can here and feel tremendous bouncing/knocking from the front right.

Possibly something else??

Cheers Lads

Have you inspected the lower control arm bushes? And are you running an aftermarket swaybar?

The lower control arm bushes will be mangled, that's probably your issue as it causes knocking and they tend to go to shit after 50-70,000km. You can see from underneath them if they are ruined.

Strut tops are a pest on this car - I have had to tighten mine twice already
