Was talking to phat and he told me that 200kw atw is a realistic figure for an auto lib, where manuals can get about 230-240kw atw on a dyno. The difference is due to torque converter. On road they would be about the same.

Yes a 15-20wKw difference will be see on a dyno between a A/T and M/T due to the way the converter loads up on the rollers but not really seen on the street

Interesting stuff! Thanks! Now to get that power. I suppose I would be looking for about 180wKw on a dyno to achieve my goal then. Just under 20kw to go!

180 is a good goal...that's my short term goal before upgrading to a larger turbo!

Well today I decided to begin the blackening of my wagon with a nice set of these! Or so I thought...
Image

Long story short, they don't fit. Not to my standard anyway, first lesson learned about going for cheaper products, you get what you pay for. They don't sit flush to the body panels and do not line up with the boot lid no matter how hard you try to adjust them. Quite sad really because they looked so good! Quality finish just not quality fitment

If there is anyone in WA with the valenti or hanabi lights I wouldn't mind meeting up one day and having a good snoop at how well they fit up.
As for what's next... Waiting on my delivery from the phat man for my first set of new goodies 8) Then I'm on the hunt for a VF52...

Yeah its running like a dream at the moment! just gotta get my brake pads done and then I can start thinking about the next stage of power mods. Cosmetically it still needs a lot of work though.

Think I'll get a bit camera happy soon since i'm free over the next 2 weeks, unless someone wants to go photo shooting? *hint hint*

Hint received. Throw up some dates on that thread! Whenever it's not going to be 40 degrees though. Weather at the moments a fucking joke!

Sounds like a plan for sure!
Adam I would love to check out the valentis you have considering my back end will be the same as yours. Oh and I'll take some photos of the problem areas before taking them off today.
Good news! I got the refund no problems!

Hmm car just threw a CEL and flashing cruise light :? Took it for a quick squirt on the highway and it went on. I was pushing it a bit, maybe busted the o2 sensor?

I have these on mine (as well as the Dixcel slotted rotors). The pads are really good and they give off very little dust, so no more black front wheels

Cheers
