Pin stripe arrived this morning. A quick trial and I like it. :D I'll do the rest tomorrow.

Now to do the brakes orange to tie it in.

JDM rear roof spoiler purchased last night to finish off the rear and projector headlights soon to be had which Im going to de-orange and paint the inside housing 51E white same as the car.

I like to tinker.

Color scheme change....

Now going back to the gold pinstripe and just did the brakes to match.....

New gold front brakes with dark grey decals to match my intended color scheme.....

Image

These were powdercoated red previously and IT ABSOLUTELY SUCKED DOG WANG to remove the powdercoat. I had to chip it off by hand first, (about 5 hours work) and then go over it with a sand blast. All sweet in the end though.

Gold outside, did all the inside gloss black.

I did the standard decals with the line above and below, but it looked cluttered. Removed the two lines, much better.

Fujitsubo exhaust which Im just waiting for my mate to open up again on the 3rd so I can fit and and get him to make a new centre section.

Quite interested in seeing how the pin stripe comes up. Should look fairly classy.

Looking good! The pinstripe is a really nice touch and the kind of detail many people (myself included) would probably overlook. I look forward to seeing it with the wheels and the brakes installed to get the full effect. :D
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!

Cheers guys. :D

Exhaust is getting done first thing Thursday morning, looking very forward to a bit of a boxer note again and tint first thing Friday morning.

Wheels apparently will land this week along with my Legacy grill so should be on asap once repainted. I'll be fitting the gold front calipers once the braided lines get here.

Its all coming together. :D

No to be. It looks great under the car but sounds like arse. I'll pull it off in the morning and fit the oem one until my mate can make a custom one for me.

No loss though as Ive already sold it. :D

Trial and error. I'd say you'll need something fairly subtle to get a good note out of the NA auto.
Hope your buyer likes the sound of arse :P
