Hello guys been reading.through the foruns for.a.week or so now and i am lookin in to buying a gt spec b as i am able to go for my full licence and want turbo power. ive driven performance cars since i started driving (had a rx8 now currently own a s2000) and was wondering is the performance of these cars in terms of power and handling really that far behind wrx sti, mazda6 mps, or evo9 (other cars im lookin at) and the potential to modify them harder as particuly the evo and.sti or am i am able to see sam sort of potential out of the lib. love the refinement and luxury features they have over the more boy racer looking evo and sti thanks guys any comments appriciated

Welcome. yes please get one, we need more GT's in newcastle as im still yet to see someone with an asn sticker.

The libs might feel a bit 'big' compared to an s2k or an rx8 if thats what you are used to. However they are quick and they are comfortable. And in the case its not as quick or swift as you would like... you could fall victim to the mod bug like everyone else on here.

Where in newcastle are you from out of interest?

Welcome.

Theres not much you cant do to these that you can do to a WRX or STi.

The bonus is you get a far more luxurious car, less unwanted attention and no "boy racer" tag.

Nah i own a black one dropped on big rims lol havent been bothered to change them. Yer been in few turbo cars including sti and evo 7 and driven a mates s15 with gt28 turbo and agree the turbo just pushes you through the sit aha. Thats what i thought both ejs so same power potential as.sti but wouldnt it be pricier as libs are less modded and less aftermaket support
