Hi Guys, I have been a member here for a while and thought it best if I made a topic in this section rather than the 'bling me up' section as i now have a few mods done to my car.

This is my first car, so a lot of things im learning as I go but so far it has been great fun. I initially saw the STi wagon in the show room back in 2007 and thought to myself "I have to have one of those", but at $73,000 it was more like wishful thinking. Come 2011 and I had now finished uni and was working full time and in the market to buy my own car after saving a great deal. I was initially looking at getting a second hand 07 SSV or an XR6 Turbo, but after taking a casual strole through a subaru car lot one day I saw this wagon and fell in love all over again. It was a bit more than I was planning on spending at the time but I have never regretted it. I would have been happy with a similar GT, but to land an STi limited version (#158/250) made it just that little bit more special to me. Given a choice I would have probably gone with a manual but I have found the semi auto to be practical (traffic jams) and fun.

Here she is when i bought her, stock

Image

I pretty much joined this site as soon as I bought my car, and Im glad i did. There is a wealth of information on here and everyone has been friendly and helpful, it really adds to owning a great car that you can share it with like minded people.

Well done mate, car is looking fantastic. Loving the angel eyes on the Liberty.

Do you have any pics of them at night?

Also, if the 3Sixty.3 is going to be anything like the 3Sixty.2 (in terms of tuning functionality and price) you would be much better off spending the money on getting the fascia kit and a decent headunit. You won't regret it.

And don't bother with rear speakers.

Fucking love this wagon hey! Exactly how I'd have it if I had the coin. Any chance I could pay you to whip me up some halos :)? I got no ideas as to who could do them for me err in WA!
Now driving the mighty 86 :)

Youd have to do a bit of math to figure it out but flywheel figure is what ASG give you. If I had to guess id say somewhere around 170-180 but im not really that worried about figures on a piece of paper. The bum dyno tells me it was a good tune and a fair increase in power. I got wheel spin the other day in 2nd in a straight line which hasnt happened before :P so i am happy with it. Next mods will likely be TMIC, BOV, eyelids and more silicon piping. Then was tossing up between re-sprayed wheels & new rear bumper, new rims + tyres or start doing my sound system.

I do have 1 pic at night but was taken on my phone camera and just looks like i have my low beams on even though I only had angel eyes and fogs on. They are a lot brighter than I expected them to be. Anyone got any tips on taking better night shots? other than using a decent camera. You really have to see them in person.

Love the car, best colour (but I'm biased :) )

You really need to get some more photos of the K2's on though, they look so great but your photos are pretty terrible of them!
I demand better photos

Oh For sure it sounds like a vast improvement! I can't wait till monday for my tune! :D Though it was just interesting to me that the stock figure for the tbsti was around 195kw most likely measured at the flywheel and post modification and tune I was expecting an increase rather than a decrease? :?

Though I'm betting over all drive has improved drastically and like you said you arent chasing the numbers, who needs to flash big numbers with a show pony like your car! Lookin forward to having a perve when the cruise comes up!

Thanks mate, yer the stock TB STi comes with 194kW and i think 339Nm of torque. These are flywheel figures, so from my tune ive gained about 22kW and 15Nm at the flywheel. I dont know why your talking about decrease?

Are you just getting a tune or having other bits put on too?

oh cos the dynograph is reading in HP not KW hence my confusion :?
Ive been running a TBE and blow off valve and panel filter so i'll be getting tuned with all of that. I considered doing a sillicone and stainless intake this weekend as well but I doubt its gonna make much of a difference to the tune.
