I'd suggest a larger tmic as a fmic causes too much lag IMO.

if your doing it wrong (power before handling and brakes) then get a bigger tmic.

If you modify with wisdom you get bigger brakes, better suspension, good quality tyres, then work on power figures.

Like many have said already Intercooler (topmount or front mount) up to you, fuelpump, injectors, retune on whatever fuel pump you like. wham there is your $3k+ gone in a flash.

I'd get 2-3 grand in a speccy mineral stock as of yesterday, sit on it for a month, and pull out 15. You're throwing it away on a car for negligible gains so why not throw it on some spec shit and wait for a bullshit announcement :p

Set of bilstein shocks and some swift/prova/prodrive/eibach springs. $700?
2nd hand Cusco tarmac centre diff and plated R160 rear centre off ricenet. $1500
Set of wrx 4pot front brakes with 2nd hand rotors and some QFM A1RM pads. $500
Torque wrench, breaker bar, open/ring offset spanner set, 1/2 in socket set, and a trolley jack/car stands $500

Easiest point to point speed+big smiles bang for your buck you could possibly do I'd say, and a good fun DIY project.

The same as the RE050A on the pre facelift.
Great predictable tyre that isnt noisy and wear well and grip decent enough for the stock suspension.
