Brembo's for 04-06 GT

On a gen 4 lib, its also worthwhile to use socket headed cap screws instead of hex bolts on the rears. (local bolt store ftw, cost me about a dollar) You still need to grind a touch off the upper lateral link with some kits, but theyre far easier to get done up and undone than trying to swing a socket around.

My complete bolt on package inc just refurbished calipers, EBC red pads, braided STi Lines and unused STi spacesaver will be for sale in a matter of weeks.

So what are you going to do when you get a flat? Do you have a spare wheel that clears Brembo's already?

Still yet to get wheels, so may fork out the extra to get a 5th wheel, don't like to the look and feel of having a spacesaver on the car even if it's to the tyre shop.

I bought it s/h off someone who bought it s/h off someone, yet its never been used.

Just peace of mind really as you may never use it as I didnt and as didnt the two people before me, but its cheap peace of mind to clear the Brembo's.

Great thread here. Lot's of useful information. I will eventually move from my 02 STI to a BL Lib GT but I don't think I could handle not having brembos on it!

You would be surprised how decent the GT 316mm brakes can be. But yes Brembo's (especially Mark's old one's) look nothing short of sex
