NEW BBK Turbos for Libertys and WRX/STI

Doesn't matter if it's an STI block or not

A stock unopened STI or wrx/liberty can handle upto 220-230kw@wheels before u worry bout a piston popping. That's the 2.5s.

As for the 2.0litre depending on what the pistons are in it, if cast like the 01-02 wrx maybe 210-220. If forged like 03-05 STI can hande 230-250kw@wheels.

Hey Troy, can you please take a photo of the up pipe flange on the BBK twin scroll - M as I would like to confirm fitment before placing an order.

Cheers, had a few mixed answers on this one. Still trying to decide if new extractors and up pipe are worth it.

Also need to change the tmic, as the 2.0lts ones are different to 2.5's, outlet of the comp side on the 2.0lt is outside of the engine, 2.5's are inside.

Then dump pipe too.

best bet is single scroll, using EL headers, 07 tmic.
Cheers
Michael

Cheers for the help :). Have it all sorted now, going HKS (Garret) GT2530 turbo and uppipe and replacing the hyperflow TMIC with perrin. As the HKS turbo bolts onto my HKS dump. :) turbos going on next week.

Hi,
So that would bolt on in place of say a VF34?
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

The bbk-l is bigger then a vf34. Spools around 300 rpm later (3500 Rpm)
Will make around 30-35% more power.
Great turbo.

We just got the last lot in. With the strong usd I can
Do a lgt/gh8 wrx one for 1599.

I think he meant is it a direct bolt on or does it need modification?

Yeah, spot on. I have a vf34, and I am looking to get something with a little more potential.
I was wondering if it would be a matter of unbolting the vf, tossing it in the bin, and bolting the BBK on.
I was looking at the Blouch 20g-xt-r as well. It seems you chaps import them too. The plan is to get one of these 20g derivatives, put some ID1000s in and tune it to run on e85 until it melts down, then go 2.5.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

On the liberty it depends on what tmic you use
If you keep the stock oem tmic it will be pointless putting a 20g on it.
If you want upgrade process west probably do the best on ATM

If your using a VF 34 I assume u have different tmic or modified something to get it to fit

If that Is the case the bbk-l won't be direct fit. But the xtr ball bearing 20g will and I have in stock as well
This is $1799
Id1000 is good pick
Silicon inlet
Tune.
= win
