Stock pads are probably the issue you are dealing with. Some pads more suited to higher temperatures rather than low dust/low noise/cold bite (which is what car manufacturers want to make the average joe customer happy) make a world of difference. There are a couple on here (myself included) with the stock GT/3R twin pot sliding calipers who are happy in the knowledge that their brakes will handle absolutely everything that could be thrown at them on the road.west_minist wrote:Just calling a spade a spade.
