stock turbo.....?
only doing half the job if that's the case
you'll need something much bigger for 240ATW (TD06-20G+ and plenty of boost)

As well as being an excellent quality, locally produced product, it is quite a bit larger than any of the others I've seen and gives you a stack more options for turbo fitment as it allows you to switch to a traditional outlet turbo as oppose to the Liberty/08 WRX specific vertical-outlet housings.
I also tend to agree on the all-in-one hit option doing the turbo at the same time! If you are doing the exhaust and top mount, you may as well go the whole hog and do the turbo at the same time. The only possible extra bits you will need to support the power other than that is a 3-port MAP sensor(I have one, PM if you're interested in buying) and an upgraded fuel pump. That, combined with the turbo of your choice should be good for over 300hp on ASG's dyno without too much mucking around!
Jimmy S wrote:Hahah... No idea why I wrote MAP sensor... I absolutely mean't BCS... and I would think ASG would probably still prefer the upgraded solenoid even on the stock turbo, but the need will certainly be more with an aftermarket one.
Agree on the disadvantages of the PW cooler as well, but if the OP is chasing a reliable 240Kw then I would be going for the best available performance TMIC which IMO is the PW. Plus, not being able to fit the engine cover, genuine STi strut brace, or certain aftermarket BOV's is not really a huge deal IMO... Maybe my priorities are different though!?
Maj3sticCr0w wrote:How much trouble is it to fit a front mount instead? anyone got any $ estimates too?
rooby wrote:+1 for FMIC, then you don't have to worry about cutting up your engine cover or removing strut brace.
Phat has done some that didn't require any (at least visible) mangling of the front bar.
