KW HLS Hydraulic Lifting System + coilovers - info??

Hi everyone,

Has anyone heard of anyone with or seen the KW HLS system installed on any vehicle?

Is it even legal in Western Australia?

I'm thinking of KW coilovers and this looks like an awesome accessory so you can go low and not be penalised by speedbumps!

Did a search or 2 and could not see any discussion on these yet.

I've seen this system before, and IMHO, I don't think it'll be worth the costs.. Or hassle really. I think the kit is made for cars that naturally sit low while still retaining some sort of wheel/fender gap, like the exotics - lambos, ferarri's etc etc. For a liberty to be sitting that low to need these, your car would have be to be like.. Super slammed, like vee-dub styled slammed.

I guess it really just depends on how low you're planning to have your car.

Also, KW coilovers are designed that even at the lowest ride height setting, they're not actually THAT low, not 'slammed' anyways.

HLS kits were mainly designed for cars that are already low stock or have clearance problems - from driveways to speed bumps. Instead of tearing out the front bar every time you go out your driveway.. Yeah you get the idea. In any regard when we set the min height on the car with our suspension, its based and tested on fully loaded vehicle checking that we don't create unsafe situations if going too low (clearances become a huge problem with arms/tyres etc......when too low). Seen plenty of eager low cars sitting on bump stops with tyres tearing on arms, just not good for your health

But we also got plenty of requests from guys that wanted to go "uber low" for show/event and then drive home at the correct road heights - so we made the HLS Drop Kits

For a 2005 Liberty Wagon expect 35-65 Front and 20-50 Rear lowering with the KW Coilovers by themselves
