My mechanic tells I me I shouldn't setup water spray, I should just get a FMIC.

I will have a set of these though Mark. Cheers.

I'm wondering if you can work on ones for the rear number plate or if it just wouldn't look right? The reason I ask is everyone has those two ugly holes that are there unless you have the right number plate frame, but I don't like mine having a frame!

Ahh post facelift predicament. Sedans only or wagons also?

That would be easy to make some brackets to raise the numberplate and cover that. Id just need a prefacelift car to take some measurements.

Mark - seems like it isn't just a facelift problem. I have pre facelift with slim NSW plates and frames & they are still visible. Mind you, on a black car they aren't so visible so I'm not too fussed.

On another note, hoping to get 2.5i measurements tonight mate

Do you recon you can make a bracket that keeps it fairly flush with the car?

Mine is a bit of stainless steel that goes the distance between the 2 holes, then has arms connecting down to go in the original mounting points. Welded on 2 square threaded nuts and bought some new screws and got them cut down so it sits only a couple of mm out from normal. I can take some pics if you want?

Yeh pics would be good.

How high do you have to lift it to cover ? Id assume only 10mm or so.

Mine is for front only, I use a numberplate surround so I cant see the holes on my rear.

It would still work for rear I guess, but it probably raises the number plate a little too high. I'll go test it later tonight and take some photos too.
