Hi All,
I had the ultrex lip fitted and looks pretty good. Just thought i'd post some for fellow 04-06 owners.

They are a pretty good copy and add the STi badge and none would be the wiser. ;)

But if you were lucky enough to get a brand new STi lip from Japan for $460 landed, would you buy a copy? :D

The material is different, when you have had a genuine one and you fit the Ultrex one you can feel the difference. The genuine one is HEAPS stronger.

I had the chance to handle both a genuine and ultrex one this week and form what I can gather the genuine one is harder (and presumably more brittle) while the ultrex one is 'softer' but more flexible which probably allows it to flex when hit against a curb or something instead of just breaking off.

I put my Ultrex one through hell and back with steep/high ramps/driveways as well as head on hits with a couple of parking blocks and it still lives.

Anyways, looks good JSP.
