nah i was referring to both he inatke and exhaust resonator, ive heard that the exhaust resonator is a permantent removal ?? however the intake resonatror can be removed and put back in?
Also how is it going to sound on an automatic?
There is a link posted above about the resonator removal and there are pllleeenty of other threads around about it (unless they've done a clean-up)...
Intake resonator can be removed and put back in for sure, so long as you're a bit careful on removal and don't rip any of the plastic (i got a little frustrated when i did mine!...
). It's easy though, just the pop-rivets that hold it in place are pretty good at their job!
Wouldn't have a clue about the automatic, although there has been mention of the air intake resonator removal still sounding quite good in automatics. Give it a shot when you're bored on the weekend, nothing to lose! Like you say, it's not permanent, and you might like the sound! It's literally a 10minute job...Even for the n00b!
