oh btw it made 274 kw at the wheels on its run in tune at HPF ! yippee ! :D
I am running five-o 850cc injectors and maxed them at 99%IDC, also maxed the 73mm KStech MAF, so i need some big arse injectors and my dual pumper installed.
Don't know anymore than that, but will update when i know more etc..

if your using pump gas i dont see how you at 99% on a 850cc injector at 274kw when they should be good for about 370 odd kw atw

same with the MAF...a 73mm Maf pipe can be used on a ej20 making up to about 360 kw atw

i would be looking at other areas that could be causing the tuner to run injectors at that % like lack of pressure and flow from the pump/s

as for the MAF pipe try changing its position or go MAF less

Time for a Nissan Z32 AFM (80mm diam) with a 650hp airflow ability you'll be sweeeet.
Oh, and get bigger injectors! You don't want to blow this thing up having finally got it on the road.

90-95% is normally as high as you'd want to go and that's with HUGE fuel rail pressure to ensure you don't end up with any level of misfire/underfuelling.
[EDIT] Just read Michaels post and he's probably spot on with the current pump not feeding enough leading to injectors having to be open for longer to get the same fuel quantity in there. Up that pressure as first port of call!

Great number for the first pass conservative tune though! Will be quick.

Hey Micheal,
Yeah it ran Pump BP98 for the run-in tune, will definitely have to investigate further re IDC with these 850s, i think Jaydece runs deatschwerks 850s and at his power levels IDC is at 75%~ from memory. I am thinking of just getting ID2000's or Five'o EV14 bosch 1200's or denso 1600's from five-0, half the price of ID2000's
re the MAF, i think i'll ask the tuner how they went about scaling for the 73mm housing. I know some of the RR guys have a hack for it, but cant recall it.
I am considering an aftermarket ECU to run just a MAP sensor and ditch the MAF, but early ramblings in my mind at the moment.
but it could be the fuel pump, as i DIY'ed the walbro myself.. *yikes* anyhow i have a full blown dual walbro cradle setup ready to go, its just a matter of figuring the best way to go about triggering and running the 2nd walbro.

thanks cpitts need to make sure nothing is being maxed out ;)
Cheers!

Anthony........

Looking back at your list of parts on one of the first post i would use a set of iD1000 injectors with your double pumper which will give you pleanty of room for the type of power your car is going to make

i think Jaydece runs deatschwerks 850s and at his power levels IDC is at 75%~ from memory.... = CORRECTION: - I run deatschwerks 750cc and IDC reaches 75% at 18.5 psi foot to the floor til redline...have not seen the IDC go higher than this...( figures taken from datascanner while driving in realtime )

Yeah was going to get ID1000's but they flow the same as five-o 850s with the same SAE viscosity test fluid. Essentially they are the same Bosch EV14 injectors, however Injector Dynamics have higher quality controls to ensure their injectors are perfectly matched across a wider pulsewidth range. Having said that i need am trying to decide between EV14 ID2000's or EV6 Denso 1600's

Ah and correction noted on the 750's Justin ;)

I don't have the full picture at the moment, but when i get the car back i will log some runs and see what i can figure out.

 good work Michael.
I'm sure there are equivalent/appropriate large diameter MAF's with enough scale (with a map rescale) and appropriate resolution that will plug in for the job at hand. Unless this setup ends up MAF-less then it's all just a waste of money. :)

PS: Please PM me if you want to discuss this, I'd rather not pollute this thread. You've clearly got strong views on MAF's (or is it just that MAF? which was an example of a bigger item). There's no doubt much more current/matched items around.
