Sits in the sunnies box / sat nav compartment.

I've always liked having a boost gauge in my turbo cars - good for trouble shooting.

I've read the install / operation manual but I'll leave it an auto electrician / Subaru to do.

Ive seen it advertised on Japanese and American sites - from memory the US source was cheaper.
Have asked if my local Subaru dealer can get it in and at what price (they are looking into it and will call back next week), but won't hold my breath.

Those gauges are nice! I love standard looking mods :D Let us know how you go.

Phillip Subaru were unable to track down the part.
Fyshwick Subaru spoke to their Japanese and American counterparts via email and confirmed that:
1. The Subaru Japan said that it was not 'compatible' with the 2.5T electrics
2. Subaru USA use this for the American sti Legacy market, left hand drive (might explain the higher cost buying from Japan)
Fyshwick Subaru speculated that it was most likely designed for the older 2litre turbo GT.
They were not willing to supply the part to me on the basis that they would then be obliged to provide support for the product in the event of a problem. However they'd consider fitting it as they were interested in seeing it in operation.
PDF of the install is attached below.

Now - Subaru Fyshwick said that there is enough of a difference between the Gen IV 2litre and Gen IV 2.5litre electrics to warrant caution. I was surprised since afterall we're just using the same install area and connecting generic sensors to 3 very commonly tapped sources? No different than the huge choice of aftermarket gauges on the market for our cars such as Pivot, Rigid, SPI, Zero Sports, GReddy, HKS, Blitz, Apexi, Omori, Sard etc etc

BTW - picked up my MY07 GT tuned by Sti 6spd wagon on the weekend with only 22,000k's on the odo, quite a nice car and very different from my old MY05 GT which my in-laws currently have. Just for interests sake I'll give them a run vs each other at some stage on a private road I have access to, to compare straight line in-gear performance.
