Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

Post whores!!!!

Hahaha..

I had some great pics from my mates Panasonic FZ30, that he did of the opera house night shot.. man..

Pics are pretty nice, that's the shit i'd be interested in doing and later further developing my own flavour..

But.. I don't know if i want to commit to a camera..

I'm thinking how many mods I can buy for the price of a camera..

Dump Pipe.. Haltech Tune.. lol :p

Hahaha.. you could always go for a second hand DSLR for starters if you don't want to shell out heaps for a camera Adrian - It'll still cost a bit, but I rekon you'd enjoy it! :D

There will always be second hand ones though, so if you want car mods, I'm sure you'd always be able to pick up a camera when you want!

And Trieu & Phil - I'll deffinately be in on a Photo night/ day as well! :D

Phil - I've got an aluminium tripod at home - I'll check to see if any of teh familia still need it, if not - I'll bring round oneday and see if it's any good for a DSLR.. Only thing I'd be a bit worried about is whether it will offer good support for a DSLR + Lense???

Depending on what you want to spend - eBay and a few of the better camera stores will have a decent range of tripods. You can also look here: http://www.digitalcamerawarehouse.com.au/category172_1.htm

One thing I enjoy about the photographic market is that there are always good deals around, especially if you're patient enough to do some research, window shopping and a bit of negotiating..

Lots of great sites like the one J posted ;)

Thanks Jonno!

I would be happy to help anyone who wants to come and learn about night photography, please bear in mind, I would only charge one beer :!: as Phil would know thats all I need... LOL!!

So yeah, if you guys want I'll organise a night time shoot to help you learn the settings and stuff.

Only requirement is your own tripod :) :)

Any interest?

Cool cool, yeah when the weather is warmer at night, I'll start to plan it.

Night shots around the harbour always turn out really nice :)

I'd be a starter for this Trieu (as long as it wasn't a Sat or Sun).
