Hello to all! kenny from WA

Hi guys thought I would introduce myself to all you guys with the liberty know how! I have recently defected from mitsubishi owner (AMC forum) to subaru (thanks to some convincing from the gf!) and I pick up my 2007 liberty tuned by STi wagon (#169/300) this saturday morning! Not sure how ill go on the modding path (if at all) considering the silly amounts of work I had done to my last car but ill be on the look out for advice as needed. You have a great forum here with heaps of info so I look forward to pouring over some of it.

The STi's are very nice I've driven a few at work, I just love how tight and responsive the steering is! They pull pretty nice too lol

Thanks guys! Looks like I'll be joining team black shortly then, first few days with the lib have been awesome! only fault so far was the previous owner cracked the sti splitter so ill have to get that repaired or replaced. Not sure how easy its gonna be since you cant seem to get much at all here in perth. Too much reading here has been feeding the modding bug! Might need a Phat DP and a tune now..... all in good time

Check out ultrex.com.au for a replacement lip, unless you want to spend 3 times the cost on a genuine one?

There is plenty available mod-wise in Perth, as long as you know where to look and who to ask!.. Check out a few of the WA guys cars and I'm sure you'll find there is plenty available locally!

Sweet thanks for the info! A family friend is a panel beater and fabricator so he thinks he can plastic weld it. Ill see how that goes (since its free ) then if it's no good i'll most probably contact ultrex and order a new one. I will have to take some pics of the car this week and put them up, once i clean it (again!) of course!

You will help me answer the 'what if' I bought that car question. I passed on 169/300 due mainly to its colour and no sat nav (Only STI Wagon for sale in WA).

If blacks your thing then it was a nice ride.

I do like the black though my previous car was white so im in for the boiling hot summers but im not bothered too much. And yeah it was the only wagon and i picked it really on a wild card choice I was preparing to buy an older BMW 330i but the only two that were for sale in perth still wern't half as good as the lib in the end considering value for money!
