verrrrry nice.

Btw no need to wrap the dump if it’s already ceramic coated, the coating will actually root under the wrap.

Interested to see if the 380XT will hit the 250kw mark especially with a tmic fitted.
Not a soobi anymore, but still slightly dirty

Blouch 380XT Turbo Kit W/ 8cm Turbine Housing.......dont waste you time and money with the 380 if your chasing 250odd and get the 440 or the 480 with the 10cm housing

Ceramic coated phat dump pipe ( heat wrapped ) ..... dont wrap the dump pipe

( in phats words its a gentle mens clutch ) ......... i think i said "its a mans clutch" but with a light action

i have built 9 liberty's now all around the 245-270kw atw (unopened) and all still running around as a daily drivers so i know what im talking about

the 380 would be good for an auto chasing 200-220

Very nice indeed ! and well done on an awesome build ! cant wait to see it on the road and the end result, i think your setup will be extremely responsive for a daily driven street car, with lots of room for further power down the track should you so seek it :D :clapping: :to_keep_order:

Blouch 380XT Turbo Kit W/ 8cm Turbine Housing.......dont waste you time and money with the 380 if your chasing 250odd and get the 440 or the 480 with the 10cm housing. = I really wanted to get the 440XT but there was a 6 week wait from blouch to perrin....so I toke what they had in stock.....380XT

Ceramic coated phat dump pipe ( heat wrapped ) ..... dont wrap the dump pipe / Btw no need to wrap the dump if it’s already ceramic coated, the coating will actually root under the wrap. = I kinda lied about this, its only wrapped maybe one or 2 turns before the cat to stop residual heat going to the engine / intercooler ( but if you guys say so, I'll take it off )

( in phats words its a gentle mens clutch ) ......... i think i said "its a mans clutch" but with a light action = I stand corrected

i have built 9 liberty's now all around the 245-270kw atw (unopened) and all still running around as a daily drivers so i know what im talking about, the 380 would be good for an auto chasing 200-220 = OF COURSE YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT MICHAEL! YOUR PHAT FOR GOD SAKE!

Interested to see if the 380XT will hit the 250kw mark especially with a tmic fitted. = The target of 250kw would be ideal, if I dont get it? i'm not that all fussed to be honest, maybe later down the track, after this I just want to enjoy the car for a while :D

Re: Jaydece's Mini Development Project

Postby jaydece » Fri Apr 08, 2011 12:38 pm

Went to HP-F today to visit my car and it's all in pieces!!!....what a scene  looked like someone turned my car into LEGO!....

There's a small issue with the fuel pump which might need to be modified or changed ( SARD ) since it's a bit taller and kinda different than the stock pump. But overall everything is GOOD!.....with the engine apart, all internals looked like spanking new!...there was no signs of scouring or issues in the piston wall / block. Transmission is sound ( clutch and flywheel not installed yet ), discs and rotors have been put on and it's all coming together slowly but surely.....I HOPE!

Another small issue is the finsh date....it's supposed to be done by next friday which gives them a week to do, but with all the cars I saw there.....I doubt that very much, I told them I would like the car no later than before easter, that way the car doesn't sit idle over the break and gives me the excuse to test her on the easter cruise! YAY! 8)

Also getting my STI wheels fixed from another mob near HP-F who specialize in gutter scratches and marks..... the previous owner couldnt drive and park for S#$&^ and left them for me to fix..... :|

While at HP-F there was atleast 6+ WRX and STI being done at HP-F which was fun to see, there was one spanking NEW STI impreza white ( straight from the dealer ) being put under the knife already and then there was one which looked like a full blown drift car...yellow colour....had the works on it!....seeing all the subaru's there kinda made me feel my car was at the right home and in good hands! :D.....

speaking to Jeremy from HP-F one of the cars with a similar setup to mine ( TD05H turbo though ) was pumping out 230-240kw atw...so that give me the indication to what I'll be getting...It's not 250...but thats close enough! :D

E85 was suggested to me, but with only 1 petrol station with E85 near my area, I'm not prepared to go down that path yet..... plus I would probably need to upgrade injectors to 1000cc...

FYI: - Gambit's car is going to HP-F on the 22nd for a initial tune so I might be popping in to see what he gets and FINALLY MEET him in person!

yeh dropping the baby this monday for a tune! nothing as big as yours tho :) = good luck with the tune! what are you expecting? 180kw atw? any supporting mods? CAI?

sentinel told me only good stuff about them so there i was! = YERP! ALL GOOD AT HP-F! they are on the expensive side...but you pay for what you get! I went to them cause it's a all in one workshop, service, tune, build, customize, etc.....plus it's like 5min from my base work and 15min from home...so it was all plus signs for me... :D

and i do agree with you that seeing all those subarus do make you feel alot better! = TRU DAT!!!!! oh yeah!
