Guard Rolling

Postby MH3.0R » Sat Mar 19, 2011 3:26 pm

I went looking for this and had to wade through several posts and felt we could make this a sticky for future reference (Ric?)

Please post up your recommended Roller but no prices (that can be done by PM between individuals). Also indicate the following:

1. state,
2. city,
3. contact details,
4. method (Heated or cold),
5. workshop or mobile or both,
6. Recommendation/experience?
7. even pics of the workmanship (if you want to go that far).

So, to start:

1. Victoria:
2. Melbourne,
3. LowDown Guard Rolling, Gavin via 0438 892 344,
4. Heated,
5. Both (Saturdays at his workshop)
6. Contact was made Thursday, booked in for Saturday. A genuine car enthusiast with a great service and spreading reputation. My suspension guy and my wheel guy both knew of him and indicated he does good quality work. I am very happy with the finish and no cracked paint.
7. I did not get any yet, but you know I will.

Hey Mark

I have used Lowdown and I was happy.

Drove down to his place and he did all the work.

I used lowdown as well. Did a good job. Have heard nothing but good reviews about Gavin. Although he did crack my paint, but it was on the underside, and he sealed it up so it wouldn';t rust. Also in his defence I did tell him to roll and push my guards out as much as he felt he could.
