Hey guys!

My names Andrew im 21!

I'm currently in the process of buying a liberty gt tuned by sti! I have paid deposit done all the checks and going to pick the car up from Sydney on 19th of March and bring her back to Melbourne. Its number 13/300 its Black 2007 model 6 speed manual.

A little bit about me I have been looking for a good liberty tuned by sti from about 6 - 8 months been very frustrating because they never ever seem to be in Victoria.... I was almost about to purchase a wrx sti but im glad i waited! I've done some research on the libertys and ej25s I don't know all that much but I am keen to learn! I have been a honda boy until now.

I'm here to learn and meet new people who are also into liberties/subarus are there many *meet and greets* for liberty members in Melbourne??? and also mods wise where do i begin?? what intake would be best for a 07 liberty gt tuned by sti?? There is a few things i would like to purchase straight away i.e STI front lip because the car i'm buying doesn't have one and intake and a set of flush jdm rims that my initial plans!!

Plans
Looks
- sti front lip
- sti carbon fibre grill
- carbon fibre bonnet scoop
- visors
- sunroof visor ( if there is any )
- rear window visor
- flush set of jdm rims

Mods
- Intake
- Slotted rotas
- sway and strut bars
- coilovers
- BoV
- Full exhaust system
- Intercooler

Thats my initial plans atm what are the best brands to get for libertys?? intake/exhaust brands bov etc...?

Thanks!!!

Photos will be posted as soon as i get the car back to Melbourne!!!

Welcome.

May I ask why your car does not come with the STi front lip?

Fair enough mate.

Bit of a shame they never bothered to follow up on the front lip.....it's worth about $650 brand new to purchase separately.

You missed out on my Ultrex replica lip by about a week, which I was selling with the STi badge too!
You can get it for $340 delivered to Melb, and if you are lucky you can find the STi badge at your local Subaru for $10. I had no such luck and had to get it from STi Japan.

I suggest you try out an intake before you think about a BoV.....it's down to personal taste of course but I found venting BoV's to be yuck. :bad:

Sways you can look at getting something from Japan (Cusco is popular on these forums) or if you want to buy Local you can get them from Whiteline
I definitely recommend the front lower control arm bush replacements, PHAT GT sells some and they really give the car a sharper turn in.

If you're picking the car up in Sydney, you could propbably save yourself some postage and phone calls by visiting PHAT GT before you come home.
Have a look around in his vendor forum at viewforum.php?f=38 :)

When you say the car wash, do you mean ones with the do it yourself high pressure hoses and brushes.
Those brushes will scratch the shit out of your paint, do not use them.
