MY07-09 Grille on a MY04-06 3.0R

I've searched through the threads for hours and it has been mentioned, but I never really found an answer.
Does anybody know if a MY07-09 Grille will fit on a MY04-06 3.0R/3.0R-B? (i know those grilles are interchangeable)
I was possibly after the Ultrex grille, but they don't know if it fits.

I don't know what his car production year is, but I now have the grille he sold that didn't fit his car on my 07 GT.

Yeah doesnt work! (We ended up discussing this at length in PM). Its worth spending the money on one thats 100% fitment the first time...because you usually end up spending that money later ON TOP of what you already spent haha!

Cheers mate, I was aware of what pre-facelift meant. I just couldn't be bothered looking up the specs of Woodduck's car at the time.

I know. But whether Woodduck had a MY04, MY05, or MY06 it wouldn't have mattered because the shape remained the same throughout the pre-facelift period.

I've tried this with Sentinel, my 2004 3.0R and his 2007 GT. His grille did not fit on my 3.0R due to different top mounting points. May have been some other reasons as well, but that it the specific main point I recall.

yeah i am in the same boat - and ultrex has 100% confirmed that their grills wont fit an 04 - 06 3.ORB.
so in saying that does anyone know somewhere in Australia where i can source a mesh grill for an 05 3.ORB? or do i need to go to japanparts.com and have one shipped?

I have been through the same research and japanparts is the only reliable result (Look for Corazon) There may be some others, but cannot remember. But locally, PhatGT will be your best source of supply.

I have tried a USDM 2.5i grille (fits all the mounting point except for the 1 inch gap at the bottom!) I confirmed that the Post Facelift GT Spec B does not fit. My solution, cut up my existing one (see my post viewtopic.php?f=10&t=9869).
And bought a black mesh one off the for sale thread (from NXTIME), specifically for the pre facelift MY04 - MY06 3.0R.

Both of my grilles are posted in the above thread.

Hey Lib 3.0Lr - can you shed some light on where you sourced your grill and front lip from?
as someone mentioned it looks like the corazon grill - was this sourced from japan parts.com? how is the fit - any problems?
what about the front lip?
