Brembo - need dust sheilds?

Postby Mo_GT » Fri Oct 08, 2010 11:28 pm

Those of you who have done a Brembo swap and removed the dust sheilds, do you find that you need the sheilds?

I have some Brembos on the way and wanted to find out if it would be a good idea to get some dust sheilds of an Sti and fit them on to my car or something.

Thanks,
Mo

Are you referring to the front or rear or both? I'd be rather interested as well..

Hi Mo

the front you won't have to touch

with the rear just drill out the 6 or so spot welds and remove the outer ring (3/4 ring) and theres no need to replace it with anything

As Michael has stated, I have done just that and have no issues.
