MY10 Liberty - Interior & Exterior Lighting

Parker
Image
With GenV the parker is exposed, therefore i didn't really want to use big LED parker as it will look ugly so i went for the T10 - 1.5W LED parker but if you don't mind the look then you can try other parker with more LED.
Image
T10 - 1.5W - $15/pair

Xenon Low Beam
Image
Image
As the car came with factory xenon the temp looks like 4000 to 4300k (warm white - white with tinge of yellow) So i've replace the low beam bulb to 5000k D2S bulb - (Pure white). Might try the 6000k down the track.
Image
D2S 5000 or 6000k bulb - $50/pair

Image
With GenV is lot easier to replace the number plate lights as you don't need special tools to remove the clips (sedan anyway)
Image
T10 - 5SMD LED - $15/pair

Map Light
Image
6SMD Festoon LED will do the job just right - but if you want really bright light then you can try using 12,16 or 24 SMD LED panel
Image
6SMD Festoon LED - $20/pair

Dome Light
Image
24SMD LED Panel and Dome light is exactly same as Gen IV.
Image
24SMD LED Panel - $30ea

Door - courtesy light
Image
I used the T10 - 5SMD , but if you want it brighter you can use the 12 SMD LED Panel.
Image
T10 - 5SMD - $15/pair

Boot
Image
Standard
Image
3 x (5050) 30cm LED strips
Image
Now it lights up the whole boot and lot brighter !
5050SMD LED Strip - $15/30cm strip - 3 x $15 = $45

If you got any question feel free to ask.

hey bud, got any suggestions for an LED that put out a more white light for the parkers??? I've got the old ones in there that I bought off you a while back and they are a bit too blue for my liking. Also, the LEDs on one side aren't working anymore so they need replacing anyways.

I need some LEDs for the dome light as well :-)
Car(s): Steel Silver MY10 GT Wagon + 1985 Subaru Sherpa

Mods: (GT) HKS Panel Filter. The HKS I put in the MY10 is the same filter I took out of my MY05 GT. So yes, they do fit. Custom leather heel pad to minimise carpet wear in the drivers footwell. Slotted front rotors. (Sherpa) 14'' 6 Spoke mags, Chrome Gear Shift (sick!), Alloy Pedals (sicker!), new positive and negative battery terminals, Alpine cda-9827 H/U, JBL GT 6x9's boxed and mounted (sickest!), Kicker DS650.2 component speakers mounted in the footwells in flibreglass pods, Alpine MRP-F200 4 channel amp (4x40wRMS), Rebadged with hektik chrome eBay badges, STi stickers for more powaaaa, "leather" handbrake boot, recarpetted with grey/black car carpet from Bunnings, sick Clarke Rubber boot mat, polished and waxed.

Hey Leo,

The dash lights on my Sherpa are just about had it (can hardly see the speedo at night). I am pretty sure from the last time I took the cluster apart they are a bayonet type fitting. Do you know of any bayonet base LEDs????

All good bud, I need to get one of the SMD panels off you at some stage. Just need to check which one it is, the same one I have in the GT fits perfectly to the mm in the light fitting in the Sherpa.

Good man. Will let you know ASAP.

I was thinking on the way home tonight that the cup holders in the GenV could do with a couple of small LEDs in them somewhere, any suggestions???
