Wheel shop in Sydney

Postby Bakks » Thu Sep 23, 2010 9:24 am

I'm looking for suggestions for a wheel shop in Sydney, preferably one who has experience fitting the larger sized wheels to Liberty's. Thanks.

You looking to buy the rims? Or are you wanting somewhere that can roll guards etc?

Ideally I'd want someone who can sell rims (likely to be BBS), fit suspension, roll guards, etc.

^^^ Yep :)

Btw, there aren't many BBS designs that suit the Liberty... & the ones that do will not require any guard rolling.

In fact, unless you getting awefully wide rims (Over 8 inches wide) or putting rather wide rubber on (Say a 235 or 245) then you won't need to roll the guards :)

18x8 +25 BBS LM's look fantastic on a liberty. Need lots of work, but my god they look amazing.

Looking at BBS CH 19 x 8.5 + 35, which will need a fair bit of guard work from what I can tell as they are an Audi fitment, not Subaru (but still 5 x 100 and a similar bore size).

Personally, I wouldn't be looking at rims that require that much effort to fit to the car... Especially when they aren't exactly cheap in the first place... But that's just MHO :)

Each to their own, but I'd like to try to push the boundaries somewhat. BBS CH are actually quite well priced - a reasonable whack cheaper than Advan's for example.
