Mate, I'd give the First Choice liquor chain a try (there is one on the corner of Parramatta road where the City West Link joins it and on Liverpool Road in Ashfield conveniently next to my office) and they are cheap and have a range very similar to Dan Murphy's, i.e. freakin' massive and cheap (most of the time the Ashfield one is cheaper than Mr. Murphy)
Now that I'm in North America, I'm greatly concerned about raised pick-up trucks and owners of wedge shaped vehicles. Seriously, not only do you have to be concerned about one hitting you in an accident, they stand a good chance of driving over you at the same time!

There is a big booze shop in north rocks near the shopping centre, they have not failed me yet. Luckily got me i found them when they had a promo on, buy a 6 pack of a certain wine (which my wife liked) and you get $20 of any case of beer, I was bringing home cases of Corona for $24 a case :p

Suntory 'The Premium Malt's' is my favourite Japanese beer, preferably in a bottle too. 100% Japanese Nijo Malt, European imported high quality Hop & Natural Mineral Water, it's from Osaka.

I like all Japanese beers really- made for drinking, especially with (Japanese) food.

http://www.boozle.com.au/ is an interesting site, know one of the founders (hey Cam if you ever read this), neat guy, Google have been trying to shut them down due to their name being similar to Google actually. Hope they stick around, shame to see Google being so aggressive, I can't see why they need to be!!

When I replied earlier, I had this website in mind where you can put in your address or postcode, and it'll show you a list of the bottle-o around your place. For the life of me, I hit a blank halfway thru the reply & cannot remember the link.

And now, after searching all nite and all morning, I still cannot remember it... and its starting to get to me

I sympatise with you Buddah, as this is so frustrating... post again once my mind is awake

Edit: nevermind this post. Boozle is your friend.

If you love your JDM beers make sure you caome and see me next time you are passing through Jindy. We should have our liquor licence in the coming weeks and will have those and more in the restaurant, not to mention GOOD sake as well.

Eboshi, The only Japanese one in town. We're up from the post office across from Mario's Mineshaft.
Still a week or two away from getting our liquor licence but once we have it we will be doing jdm beer and sake nights.

Good news is I found my new beer supplier and had a great day yesterday with the new Konro and found a supplier of Binchotan so we had the best yakitori and many beers

Eboshi knows what I'm talking about lol
