Shane I have three days off in a couple of days and I will post one up then.

I am just wondering how do I lower the car if you have Teins install ?

Is the process too difficult for someone who has not attempted something like this before ?

Last but not least, this might sound a little stupid but how do you get your ride sitting even if I lower it myself ? :D

I would use a tape measure. find 2 point to measure and work from there. Cool looking forward to see it lowered

I think I have to read the manual of how to do the lowering part.

Perhaps check with Trutrack first as I am not sure to what extent they set your height. E.g. if they corner weighted it or not. If you spent a bomb with them they might even adjust the height for you for free if you go back :)

I would have thought that having them installed would include height setting?

I think Haz just wants it lower.

Correct Jim I think I can go a fraction lower. I know that my Teins are adjustable but I dont know how to do it.

Maybe someone out there with Teins has done this and can spill there beans on how it was done by the individual.

It's a matter of using the C spanners that come with your coilovers and adusting the 2 rings that control the height.
BTW if you change your height you will need to do a full wheel alignment again, So make sure that you are completely satisfied with it before getting the alignment done.

Harry, I believe adjusting the height is the same on most if not all coilovers. Firstly you've got to take the rim off, then disconnect the wheel hub from the strut, then after you've done that use the supplied spanners to loosen the locking mechanism. This will allow you to turn the lower part of the coilover (where the hub bolts onto the strut) so as you rotate it, it will go higher or lower. Height adjustment is a tedious process as you have to take it apart, then put everything back on, check then repeat the whole process again if needed.

As mention above you will need an alignment afterwards, but one thing you can try to do to limit how much it throws your alignment out is to make sure you mark the camber bolt with white out or something so you can see where the initial position was. I want to lower my car a bit more too but have been too scared to do it without having my guards rolled. lol. Good luck.
