4WD's are just seen as cars now... I mean, why does a mother who drive their kids to school need to have a 2 tonne truck?
I have heard the excuse "oh, I like to step up into my cars"... What a load of crap...
Needless to say, I'm not a fan of 4WD's on city roads... Sure, if you have a reason to have one (IE - You go off road or are a farmer etc) then that's a different story. But to just have one has a daily doesn't make sense to me.
My apologies to those that own 4x4's... I've just seen too many prangs involving them & had one too many close calls because most of their drivers think they have god mode turned on the minute they kick over the engine.
