I had an extinguisher in the car for a while, but took it out because it was just rolling around the boot.
I have heard that you should periodically shake or rotate your powder extinguishers. I was told that the powder can settle and then when you have need to use it, nothing happens...

i would piss on it
teK-- wrote:The NRG one is not very good from what I've read. It places the extinguisher too close to the seat rails and limits forward movement/quick removal. (It's close to being a totally flat bar which anyone could make at home, whereas the WRX one consists of two hinged pieces, comes out wide and is angle adjustable). It's also near unusable if you don't have electric seats since the adjustment bar gets in the way.

I am looking at mounting it across the front of the passenger seat rails…. Using the existing seat rail bolts
Just wanting some advice about what size or brand of dry powder FE Extinguisher to get????
