Annoyed with purchasing wheels...........

Postby THERB3 » Tue Apr 27, 2010 1:44 pm

Hi guys,

I am a little annoyed when I enter into a retail store to purchase wheels and the sales guy tries to sell me other shitty brands that I am not intrested in. I know they want a quick sale cause they have these other wheels in stock. :angry2:

I just would of been happier if they have told me that they cant get these wheels in or they cant be stuffed. My orginal request was Advan RS but they dont make them in our stud pattern in 19". So I asked for Advan's Kreutzer Xi and Enkei's GTC01 in 19", they left me hanging like 30 minutes. He couldn't get in contact with the reps but you can sense that they didn't want to go out of there way to make $5,000 dollars. Another words he couldn't be F#@$

I walk out telling the guys here is my number if you get any information on these dont hestitate to call me. And by the way I have cash you know. They said they will be incontact YEAH RIGHT.

Basically guys I need help to purchase wheels, what intrest me are Advan Kreutzer Xi, Enkei GTC01 style. They need to 19" and awsome looking, price is no issue but lets keep it realistic hey.

Who do I contact to find out price, delivery time ?

Is the PHAT man the man the contact, or is there anyone in Melbourne who has supply.

I hope there is a happy soul out there that knows the way. :D

Considering you're not looking at buying cheap wheels, I'm actually surprised about their attitude.

That being said, your right, I've found people would rather sell what's in stock rather then having to order wheels in etc... Stock turn baby! :P

I'd speak to Phat GT first as you know he'll be giving you the best price possible :D

Get them sent direct from Japan via this man:
http://www.jessestreeter.com/

His prices are awesome, sources parts direct from the manufacturers in Japan (as he lives there) and sends them to Oz. His commission is far better than any other operator out there and there are literally hundreds of positive stories about him on many forums.

Looking at Advan Japan site, KREUTZER Xi come in 19x8 +48 in 5x100, rather conservative offeset.
They come in 18x8 for 5x100 in either +35 (nice n aggressive) or +48 conservative.

Enkei GTC01 only come in 18x8 for 5x100 in either +38 (nice n aggressive) or +48, again conservative.
No 19" available in 5x100.

Do you want them to be big diameter OR nice flush fitment?

There is someone on here that has Advan Kreutzer Xi wheels.

I was wondering if he had any detail pics of the wheels on the car.

Thx.

OZ U-Legz FTW :D

But yeah, as has been said... Enkei's aren't available in the correct PCD in 19"... Advan's are good albeit exxy as, but I've gotta say I prefer the Connoisseur's over the Kreuzer's!

I'm sure there are a few other options worth considering... especially if the $$s aren't too much of an issue! Check out the wheels thread --> viewtopic.php?f=19&t=5633&start=0

Personally I'd give my left nut for a set of either of these as well as either of the Advan's:
