pop the ring around your shifter out, then you will be able to angle the ashtray out

I am interested in which AUX cable you have, i am looking at doing the same to my liberty (2008) and looks like i need the h0010ag100 one,
if it is not this cable which one did you use??

but i just want to make sure it is the right cable before i buy it (it is only $50 but still not worth wasting).

How did you get it out far enough to disconnect the plugs on the back? I have had unit loose, and the hazard plug off, but thats as far as I could get it...

May 3- worked it out...Not clear where the aux cable fits though - I have the aux in socket in the centry cubby, but it must plug into the loom somehwere not obvious.

tks
