Brembo Pads

Postby Lib 3.0LR » Fri Apr 09, 2010 4:09 pm

Hi all
Just took apart one of my Brembo calipers to examine the pads before i put them on the car and noticed that they had pitting on them. Now i know that's not normal so are the still good to use as they should wear down or will they stuff up the rotor, or should i :? replace them here's a few shoots, one set is better than the other

PS Rear's look OK I think :?
Rotor's look good too, no marks on them.

Looks like they've been overheated at some stage and bits started crumbling off. I'd use em for everyday but probably not for motorsports.

Least you know what your pads are... mine are blue with no other markings on it, and I know they're not Project Mu or A'PEXi Blue pads :P

your rotors a brand new ....... front should be 30mm and rear 20mm when new

but your pads are screwed, they will fall apart very quick in that condition,

IMO they are mositre affected

I think phat still has a special on dixcel pads ....................
