18x8 +48 will fit fine. If you have a look at page 3 of the Gen IV wheels thread here:

as you can see, its not flush fitment, but definitely fills the guards better than stock.

hey mate, the 05 spec b rim weighs in at 11.4 kgs. I got a 6th rim that hasnt got rubber lying around doing nothing
