That would be fine if it wasnt a good 7 hours away haha. And plus, all they did was replace the engine under warranty. I dont wana replace my engine OUT of warranty.

Maybe this might be the cause of your problems? Not sure... just take a wild guess.

Could be but i doubt it. Only because by then id had the car for a couple of months, and as i dont live in melbourne it was no longer running melbourne fuel. Im sorta hoping its just the CAS...only time (and money :? ) will tell i suppose  Thanks for the link mate. Interesting!

Yeah it may have gone to other states, it all depends on the timing I think but the symptoms are pretty spot on.

Hey mate, nah i havnt replaced it as it only started playing up again on last monday. I called my local subaru dealer and told him that the situation was very similar to when it happened last time (last time i didnt drive it for a few days, got in the car and it happened...and this time i didnt drive it over the weekend and then got back in the car and it happened again). He said straight away that he knew exactly what it was and said something about dual timing chains and something about not matching up so one chain thinking the other ones out and throwing out the timing...or something haha. He was kind of talking to himself not me. Anyway, that was at 5 oclock last monday arvo, and he went on holidays that arvo untill tomorow....he is going to call subaru technical so i guess ill find out whats going on tomorow :D FINGER CROSSED...again lol
