Well . . . knew something else had to go wrong.

One of the eyelids seems to have taken on the wrong curve (oven room perhaps). Anyway it was sitting well off the central bottom corner.

Thought I'd carefully massage it a bit till it sat closer to the headlight lens when I hear "crack".

The paint cracked - Arggghhhh :angry2:

Well got the lip off of Dave. It's immacualte.

Will post some photos when the install gets done , however, might be a while as I have pressing holiday time to be really slack during.

Sorry Dave - certain other things do take priority sometimes

I know your desperate to get it back LOL but that ain't going to happen.

As an interesting note - saw another install of a lip on MY07 GT where they used a poppit on the upside inside fender - yours was originally screwed in correct ?

Trying to keep OEM look as much as I can.

Yea Dave - I am saying that some one installed this lip differently. Where you have a "screw" on the inside fender , closest to wheel and furthest attachment point from the ground as such, they placed a poppit. I assume that the drilled the hole bigger.

Visually it looked better than the bolt/screw head that your installation seemed to utilise and I'm assuming they had to drill the hole in the lip larger.

A few small holes with cable ties is all thats required other than the 5 big clips that are already in position on the GTB's!

LOL my CF lip install used the same oem bolts and poppets as the factory installed polyurethane lip end of story. Piss easy mate so get it done :lol:
