2.5L 05 exhaust

is changing the exhaust worth it on the 2.5 N/A, and if so what would the approx costs be, including installation?

Mufflers only or a catback setup? If you like a growl to your car it's definitely worth it. The thing you have to watch out for is not going to big with the piping. Otherwise you lose low end power. Great for the highway, terrible for suburban driving. But prices should range from $500+ for mufflers only and probably $1,000+ for catback. All depends on the place, whether you use mild or stainless steel, and the brand of mufflers.

ahkk awesome. is there any good places in melbourne that can do the whole lot with like quad tips, how much would that be approx. i know someone with a straight pipe but thats illegal yeah? lol i only got like 2 grand atm, n i have to lower it first, so i dont know where to put my money in rims or exhaust or sound system ect. whats the best place to start?

Depends on your personal preference and priority, but 2k isn't much to play with if you plan to get multiple items done.

E.g. Wheels and tyres would eat up the whole 2k easily. Lowering you could do for around 800 without new dampers. Stereo you would need around 1000 for a bare basic setup. For the exhaust you should be able to get both mufflers for 1k installed or a bit more for cat back.

Personally I would sink the whole 2k on suspension.

See daalder exhausts in box hill they are good. Otherwise you gotta work out your priorities first =)

mmmm well lowering has to be first, rims can probs wait since the stock ones arnt too bad, n plus i got new tyres anyway. so the exhaust would cost around 1k? yeah i live near box hill so might check it out when i got time. lol yeah 2 grand isnt much but on p plates its hard to get some serious cash after buying a car. thing is i didnt think lowering would cost more then 400$ or so, since i know people that have done it before. or are they just doing it on the cheap?

Sure 2000 is a lot of money to some people but it doesn't get you far when you want to modify so many things at once. You are better off doing things properly first time and mod your car progressively

Lowering for 400 is definately doing it on the cheap. Quality springs cost around 500 to 600 and then you have fitment cost, wheel alignment, and likely need to fit alignment correction kits depending how your car turns out (most cars will need a camber adjustment kit on the back which is around $100 in itself).
